Lisa and Heather
Lisa Casoni has a sales and marketing background, working for such companies as Coldwell Banker, Giorgio Armani, and Prada. Lisa moved to Ojai, CA in 2010 and in 2013 she was a co-creator of the Ojai Art Festival. From 2013-2023, with Heather Stobo, she established and ran The Porch Gallery Ojai located in the historic John Montgomery House in downtown Ojai. In 2018, the couple founded Beato Chocolates.
Before establishing Beato Chocolates, Heather Stobo was an artist and gallerist. She earned a BA (Art History) from Denison University, a BFA (Photography) from the San Francisco Art Institute and a MFA (Photography) from California Institute of the Arts. Her photographic series have been exhibited in group and solo shows in San Francisco and Los Angeles. In addition to her work as a fine art photographer, Stobo has been working in the art related businesses since 1992 when she started as the Assistant Registrar at Crown Point Press in San Francisco. Stobo has also worked as a Preparator for Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco and managed the promotional material library at Ace Gallery in Los Angeles. From 2013-2023, she, and Lisa Casoni, ran the Porch Gallery Ojai.
